Q: Does your cart handle secure digital downloads? (ie. cannot be hacked into!) A: Yes, we offer secure digital downloads that expire after 3 days or 3 downloads, whichever comes first (Don't worry you can reissue the link to whomever after it expires). Q: Can your cart put a logo on the top of the cart, a different one for each product? A: Yes, you can add an image to the top of any of your products that will be displayed on the product order form. Q: Does it calculate sales tax like VAT? A: CartFreak does not automatically calculate sales tax for you, because that changes with area. We do offer dynamic pricing, so if you have a script that updates the price with the sales tax charged from the zip code of that person, then that could work (Dynamic pricing allows the price on your site to update with the price of the product in CartFreak instantly). Q: Can CartFreak handle multiple Kunaki CD/DVD orders for one product? A: Yes, we have a Kunaki Maps area that allows you to set up as many Kunaki products with a certain product, all in an easy, organized manner. Q: How are you going to price it, monthly or one-off? (& if one-off can it be used on many domains) A: CartFreak is a monthly recurring charge (each month you will be re-billed the pricing that you normally pay). Q: Can it handle taking one PayPal payment PLUS setting up a monthly PayPal subscription (starting in 30 days from sale) for ONE transaction? This would be the case where the customer buys a product and also gets 30 free days of the subscription product as well, which they cancel if they don't want. CartFreak is one of the only shopping carts out there that allow you to do this with PayPal as well. Q: Do all the features work with PayPal standard, including the recurring payments feature? (currently I can do recurring payments with PayPal standard, but not automatically) A: Yes, you can also set how many months (or however often you want to charge the buyers) you want to charge them before they are automatically unsubscribed to your product. For example if you have a 6 month membership, you can set the options to only charge once a month for 6 months before ending their membership. Q: What is the importance of the guarantee period? A: This makes it to where you can not refund someone their money after the period you have set has expired. For example, if you set the guarantee period to 30 days, on the 31st day, the system will not allow you to refund their money. This eliminates the hassle of looking up their order, and seeing if they have gone passed this period! Q: I have my own sales pages ... but I heard that CartFreak makes a sales page for you? Do I have to use this feature? A: We allow you to either use one of our pre-designed checkout pages or you can use our "generate code" feature that allows you to copy and paste the order form onto whatever page you like. It is very easy and simple to host/embed it on your own sales page. Q: Can your affiliate program put pending payments “on ice” until the guarantee period is over? A: You can set the affiliate payments to go out on a certain waiting period. Say you have a 30 day money back guarantee and you don't want to pay your affiliates till you make sure they don't ask for their money back, you can add a 30 day waiting period in the affiliates options.
